A small paperback bought by Henry Lincoln changed his life. The story of a then little-known village in the foothills of the Pyrenees, the now famous Rennes-le- Chateau.

Henry Lincoln made three television documentary films for the BBC series, Chronicle. In 1972 "The Lost Treasure of Jerusalem" was the first anyone outside France had ever heard of this extraordinary story, and followed in 1975 by "The Priest, the Painter, and the Devil" then "The Shadow of the Templars" in 1979. Lincoln brought in Richard Lee and Michael Baigent, which led to the bestselling book 1982, The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail.
